Hi, I’m Lorraine...

My Approach & Clinical Background

As an experienced clinician, I bring decades of trauma-focused psychotherapy, counselling, and supervision to my work. I specialise in:

Complex trauma & PTSD
Domestic and Family Violence
EMDR
Attachment Trauma
Dissociation and parts work
Childhood sexual assault

My passion for learning has never faded — I continue to pursue training, attend conferences, and deepen my skills both personally and professionally.

My Mission

To inspire and support EMDR therapists to integrate trauma-informed, attachment-informed, and parts-aware practice with confidence, clarity, compassion and creativity.

My Values

Growth

Learning EMDR is a developmental journey—one that becomes embodied over time through curiosity, practice, and compassionate self-reflection. I honour the pace of each therapist’s learning process and celebrate growth at every stage.

Inspiration

Therapists thrive when they feel confident, guided, and creatively engaged. I aim to spark inspiration through collaboration, attuned teaching, and a belief that we can all deepen our skills far beyond what we first imagined.

Integrity of Practice

Good EMDR is not just about protocols—it’s about attunement, safety, ethical practice, and respect for memory networks, parts of self, and lived experience. I value EMDR that is thoughtful, grounded, and deeply human.

Connection & Collaboration

Change happens through relationship. Whether in training rooms, consultation groups, or individual support, I value warm, curious, steady collaboration that allows therapists to feel safe enough to expand.

A Personal Note

Outside of work, I’m an avid gardener with a green thumb, growing an abundance of sunflowers, cherry tomatoes and Kale currently. I love spending time with my delightful Groodle, Skye, who brings joy and comfort to visitors in my practice.  I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, have a well-stocked self-care toolbox, and am passionate about travel, recently back from Europe and planning my next adventure.

Look forward to connecting with you
