I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker in Private Practice who provides Counselling and Supervision. 

I have Bachelor and Master Degree in Social Work from University of NSW.  I continued my education professionally over the years and have gain extensive practice based wisdom in my career.  Apart  from spending many years learning from my clients, witnessing their growth and transformation.  I have gained so much from opportunities which currently informs my work.  Here is some of the highlights of my experience and education, although learning and growth is an ongoing journey. 

  • Worked with Indigenous population in a rural community providing  counselling on a weekly to fortnightly basis over 7 years.

  • National Trainer and Workshop Facilitator to survivors of child abuse and health professionals working with survivors of  child abuse and trauma. Blue Knot Foundation formerly ASCA. 

  • Managed Child Abuse Prevention Service  A Telephone counselling service for children at risk of harm, their carers and others concerned for welfare of children.

  • Group Work and Counselling TAFE teacher

  • Royal Prince Alfred Sexual Assault Service Social Worker providing first response support and ongoing counselling

  • Randwick Childrens Hospital first response assessment, support and ongoing counselling

  • Facilitating groups for female survivors of childhood sexual abuse since 2003 through non-government organisation, RPA Sexual Assault Service, and more recently funded by Victim Services.

  • Co-authored facilitators manual for Discoveries 2; A group work manual for working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse 2006.

  • Provided telephone and online counselling across many services to survivors of abuse and trauma, Dympna House Incest Counselling  and Resource Centre, Child Abuse Prevention Service, NSW Raped Crisis Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sexual Assault Services, Blue Knot Foundation.

  • Worked for many years in women and children refuges for those escaping Family and Domestic Violence.

  • I have been in Private Practice for the past 13 years.


I use an integrative, collaborative and empowering approach with individuals and groups and believe transformation occurs when we work holistically with the mind, body and spirit.   My practice is trauma informed, strengths based, client-led with a psychological focus on client centered resilience and is definitely not a one size fits all approach.
